Abstract:
The purpose of the research is to develop an effective pedagogical technology for designing an online course for the implementation of the educational process in the discipline at the University.

The objectives of the research are, on the one hand, to determine the stages of the algorithm of pedagogical design of the online course in relation to organizational and methodological support and, on the other hand, the technical implementation of the educational course.

The research methodology includes theoretical analysis and practical understanding of the problems of developing educational courses for the university students using remote techniques. A retrospective analysis of modern theoretical and experimental research on this problem was carried out from the positions of axiological, competence-based, informational and individual approaches to the organization and support of the students' educational activities. 342 teachers of the University's faculty of Humanities took part in the experimental design of e-learning courses. The collaborative work of teachers made it possible to develop a unified approach to the design of an electronic educational course for the university students, to monitor the results of students' and teachers' work with the proposed electronic educational courses in the Humanities, and to offer a generalized structure of algorithms for the development and application of electronic educational courses in the Humanities. The study also involved 2623 students who were asked to take a questionnaire to evaluate e-learning courses as to whether their content met educational needs.

As a result of the obtained research data, it became possible to present a generalized technology for designing an electronic educational course for the university students and apply it to the development of electronic courses in Humanities. The results of monitoring and evaluating students' training on the developed electronic courses, as well as their questionnaires to determine satisfaction with the educational process using courses developed in accordance with the proposed technology, showed the high efficiency of the created educational technology for designing an electronic educational course for the university students.
