Abstract:
The aim of the study is to identify effective teaching methods for foreign students using electronic educational resources created for this contingent. The study was conducted at the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens of the Kuban State Technological University.

Foreign students are traditionally taught in Russian at Russian universities, and the lack of language proficiency may hinder the successful study of foreigners. Analysis of traditional teaching methods showed that they are aimed at developing reading and writing skills. The creation of educational resources with multimedia elements will allow to introduce teaching methods that help acquire listening skills and recognize Russian speech and will contribute to the acquisition of skills in the use of grammatical structures and vocabulary expansion.

The analysis of the results of pedagogical research on the implementation of information and communication technologies in teaching foreign students showed that the presentation of educational content in electronic educational resources occurs mainly in text format. Russian teachers use testing to monitor the knowledge of students, and only the text format of the questions is used.

The educational environment of the preparatory faculty was created for conducting an experiment and testing the effectiveness of teaching methods using multimedia educational content. It is placed on the Moodle platform, containing educational resources in various educational subjects. The electronic educational resource on the subject of mathematics has the fullest content with multimedia elements. Classes using this resource are held in mixed form. The student exercises are created at Power Point. This program allows you to create and play audio fragments easily. Students listen to words, phrases and sound fragments while performing the proposed tasks. There are interesting tasks such as "Write down a phrase from dictation" and home dictations.

The educational resource contains a selection of video lectures and presentations to them. During the classroom lesson, the presentation is analyzed and discussed with students. During independent work, the student views the video lecture and answers questions in writing and solves tasks. Due to repetition, the vocabulary of the studied section is assimilated, the perception of speech by ear improves.

The tests have been created to check the acquired listening and recognition skills of Russian speech in the framework of the training course "mathematics". The Moodle platform allows you to insert sound clips and videos into the tests, so many questions are asked orally. The student is asked to listen to the question and choose the only answer from the proposed ones, or he is asked to perform a mathematical action and enter a numerical answer. There are multiple choice questions.

My experience has shown that the creation of such a resource requires certain skills and considerable efforts in working with information technology. But in the future, it is possible to diversify teaching methods, change the types of educational activities of students, increase their motivation and achieve better results in the perception of oral speech. Students participating in the experiment show a better knowledge of the subject vocabulary.
