Abstract:
In the last few decades, teamwork has been gaining increasingly more popularity among forms of effective cooperation. One of the most common cases in which it has to be formed is project work. It is a form that enables a team to work together over a period of time and to have a specific goal involving people with the most appropriate professional skills. But in addition to these criteria, it also requires skills for effective communication, planning and organizing various activities, making right and workable decisions.

The specificity of scientific projects is often related to the need to involve specialists from different spheres of knowledge in the team. This is often a prerequisite for differences in forms and principles of work, which is becoming a challenge for the head or co-ordinator of this team, but worldwide experience proves the efficiency and productivity of such teams.

The current paper aims to present the possibilities for teamwork of specialists from different spheres of knowledge to create a common product. The paper is based on examples of work within the project “Information Portal for Archival-Documentary Heritage of the Bulgarian Revival”. This project is related to the conduct of an in-depth interdisciplinary fundamental research, which will result in the creation of an information platform bringing together the information on sources from the history of Bulgaria in a structured and systematic way. This will allow for faster and full access to information and will greatly facilitate the work of all stakeholders.
