Abstract:

After analyzing essential features to progress from an eLearning portal to a Smart Online Learning Community, TechClass implemented the Core of the new platform capable of introducing Community Features. This paper, first, will represent the result of the survey for community features, second, it will discuss the community features which TechClass will release in its all-new Smart Online Learning Community, and finally, the paper will introduce the methodology of the implementation of those features.

Understanding the various implementation categories of such features are essential to understanding the link between features, and also understanding how they will set up the environment for different user groups. Mainly the implemented features will make two vital purposes possible; first, to automate as many tasks as it would be possible to make the platform smarter. Second, to utilize the power of community and to apply them in various learning methods. Community features will enable students to have a more significant role in the learning process and enable them to be more aware of each other in the system, for possible collaborations regarding the learning process.
