Abstract:
Museum institutions, because of their special characteristics, can encourage the development of significant learning among visitors. The University of Navarra Museum is a recently created institution (2015) that is aware of the importance that education has in today's society. Among its programs is the one aimed at the first level of Early childhood education (0-3 years) called "The Kids Museum". Given the impossibility in most cases that these children move to the Museum, the resources of this program are included in a mobile box that moves to schools. This box includes manageable pictures of the Museum's permanent exhibition, a literary-plastic kit, a musical discovery kit and a treasure box. The educational instruction is carried out through the book of 10 fairytales that works specifically with a picture of the collection relating it with values, multiple intelligences, emotional competence and emotion. The program “The kids Museum” has been carried out, as it is a university museum, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the University of Navarra. In collaboration with its students, the conceptualization of the program was carried out, including the writing of the stories and their management in the Early childhood schools. One of the main contributions of the program is the fairytales book. It contains 10 stories that have been created from interpretations made by children visitors of the permanent exhibition of the University Museum of Navarra. They intend to promote four educational aspects: Emotion, Value, Emotional competence and Intelligence type. Keywords:
