Abstract:
It is strenuous to apprehend to what extend the international relations are going to expand. International relations are directly in contact with sociocultural pragmatic competence. The more people communication around the world the better comprehensibility of content is necessary for interlocutors that is in relation to pragmatics, in particular with sociocultural pragmatics. Messages are arduous to be inferred by those involved. Interlocutors must be able to connect the context-based socio-cultural-interactional line to the intention-based cognitive philosophical line. Having good sociocultural pragmatic competence can eliminate misunderstanding in international communication.

The work analyzed the data that was derived from actual observations in a classroom environment and the date that was brought to students on purpose. An in-depth analysis of all data collected was made. After disclosing problematic issues the work gave some recommendations for EFL classes.

Intercultural discourse that is so intense in today’s global world demands sociocultural knowledge of people.
