Abstract:
The project aims to study the role of the "Castle of the Arts" in the social vindication of the tolerance sector of the Barrio Santa Fe, with the launch of the "cultural center" as a place of social innovation for the development of inclusive education activities based on the fine arts. In this sense, the project becomes important for the Master’s program in Inclusive and Intercultural Education and for UNIMINUTO as it responds to the institutional mission based on social inclusion and inclusive education where access facilities are provided education to different social sectors of the city of Bogotá. This project articulates cultural management with inclusive education that allows the implementation of educational programs aimed at developing training processes with a diverse, vulnerable population, in a situation of poverty or marginalization. The project is structured around three phases: 1, the identification of socio-educational conditions, 2, the educational actions carried out and 3, the implementation of artistic strategies of social and educational inclusion binding on higher education for the social vindication of the population of the tolerance sector of neighborhood Santa Fe. It is expected that the project will impact a high percentage of the participating population to the extent that it provides the conditions for educational access from the cultural management since access to culture is currently constituted in a right for citizens based on four fundamental principles: non-discrimination, physical accessibility, economic accessibility and accessibility of information.
