Abstract:
The paper is concerned with the problems of project training of media specialties students in the process of media education. It justifies the requirements to revise traditional pedagogical concepts from study projects to real project teams working on the principle of convergent editions. The focus of research is a modern system of providing convergent editions, both in scientific and practical discourses. This study represents a new approach to interdisciplinary communication between pedagogy, journalism, management, and marketing. This approach allows developing a new vision of media education in particular and professional media education.
The article is aimed at solving the key problem - media education cannot be only in the projection of both pedagogy and journalism. Modern conditions of professional activity give new challenges, among which the most significant is the development of the principles of project work. The set of approaches, principles, results of theoretical and practical research represents a wide potential for transformation of University education of media specialists in the conditions of dynamically changing reality and convergence of everything.
The successful functioning of the media is based on a business model that is able to convey information to the consumer through all types of communication. New types an editorial model becomes a new challenge for the future professional education of media professionals, since the editorial staff itself changes its structures and functions, and with it, the tasks and requirements for journalists change. Simulation of a convergent edition in the process of learning multimedia journalists determines the rules of convergent learning. So, the key task of the modern media market is the production of content by universal journalists for different media platforms in a single edition, as a new entity model that replaces the one that used to be called the traditional editorial office.
Project training of students of media professions is a little-studied area of modern pedagogy of higher education. This is due to the lack of conceptual and terminological certainty of the terms “media education”, “professional media education”, “project training in media field”. Also, the focus is on the presentation of media education, in particular, professional media education, as a field of journalism, and it is in the interdisciplinary convergent approach of such sciences as pedagogy, management, marketing that effective ways of organizing project training and development of social competencies, soft skills, through the development of student convergent editorial office.Keywords:
