Abstract:

Social media have become the most common form of communication, but they are fraught with many risks. The aim of our research was to identify the most occurring risks from the use of social media. Based on the information from respondents surveyed, we identified and analyzed the various risks in terms of normal user of social media. In our data, were identified in the behavior of users’ lot of risks which can have negative influence to personal security. For this reason, we designed solutions for the safe use of social media. We examined how are perceived risks associated with the use of social media by respondents themselves, and thus how they perceive them, recognize them, and what level of protection they have set. Subsequently, based on risk analysis of available resources, we have identified six risks that considers essential. In our contribution is presented list of recommendations to various risks in connection with the use of social network.
