Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to present a strategic approach in education for future leaders in sustainability training and certification (at the European level). This initiative was developed by an international partnership and the result of a complex and innovative training and certification program is tested and validated in three European countries (France, Romania and Slovenia). The proposed framework is a flexible one that can be easy adapted to different organizations needs. The certification procedure is supported by the European Certification and Qualification Association (ww.ecqa.org). The preliminary pilot training sessions have proofed the attractiveness, effectiveness and efficiency of the so call LeadSUS program (assimilated with a vocational training and an examination-certification process through the skills and competencies gained by the trainees are European wide recognize, www.leadsus.eu). The paper aims to present the strategic approach for future leaders in sustainability education, together with an analysis of the trainees feed-back captured during the testing and validation of the training program (didactically process analysis, trainees group exercises analysis, teaching style analysis, trainees individual work analysis).
