Worldwide trend of the past twenty years has shown that the approach of globalization and intense development of social systems play an important role. In this new context, institutions, educational systems and the administrative ones need to be flexible to adapt to these changes.
On this geopolitical context, the educational system and public administration, central and local have become defining factors in economic competitiveness of countries or economic regions. For Romania the transformation process gains new dimensions. Thus, they must respond to new changes in the world economy, but equally they must face the global economica land financial crisis.
Educational reform and the administrative changes involve substantial changes of the major components and folding on the new coordinates which must help to maintain high standards implemented with the inclusion of Romania in the European Union. The change needs first to identify the type of problems that can be solved this way, so the reform is being developed over time, animated by the need of combination of hierarchy and knowledge management in an unitary system.
Attracting qualified staff is today one of the most important requirements of contemporary society. The willing to have and to keep well trained and competent individuals is -in the current economical context- a challenge for most organizations, being strongly motivated by the emergence and development of an economic crisis lived by many social actors.
In this context an important agent is the level of individual involvement as the result of attitude that is added to a specific approach to the professional values perceived in a specific way by each individual.
The onset the attitudes of involvement is being done in specialty literature from two perspectives: the behavioral and the attitudinal, which presents emotional nuances, instrumental and/or normative.
From an emotional point of view, the involvement attitude of the individual in an organizational field is being reflected by the strength with which he feels connected to the enterprise; from an instrumental point of view, the losses suffered by the organizational actor are being slown down the moment when the contact with the organization is being interrupted and refering to terms of regulatory issues they may be seen as the interiorization of the values of the organization that are exerted by the individual and as a result of the influence of organizational climate. On the other hand, regarding professional values, formed as the subsystem within the axiological system, independent of their variety and depth, they occur as operational action on the individual in order to achieve the proposed goals, contributing to its formation. Professional training process is first of all a didactic demarche, then it aquires cultural and organizational valents.
In this study the authors start from the idea that – generically speaking - the involvement formula is in consonance with the organizational actor’s professional values. The experimental design proposed has as the main objective the identification and analization of the correlation between perception over involvement and professional values reflected by persons involved in educational and administrative romanian area.
