Abstract:
The frequency of Chinese students enrolled in the Bachelor, Master, PhD and Mobility Programs offered by European Universities is growing each year. This growth is evident in all fields of knowledge, faculties, courses and studies. The reasons that lead Chinese students to study in the European Union is the demand and qualification necessary to access prestigious Chinese universities, the desire to allocate a large part of the family resources to the education of the only child in the family, the government, given the lack of supply and the great demand for education in their country, supports and offers great flexibility to all students who decide to go abroad to study Bachelor, Master and / or doctorate. Moreover, in China, language skills are of great importance whatever the sector in which one might work. This paper presents this growth with data from the last years from three European universities and its impact on the European Higher Education Area.
