Abstract:
Teaching as a social system can hardly be organized in a unidirectional way, without taking into account different factors that influence the teaching-learning process. For this reason the work is based on the question: how do digital media influence the motivation to participate in an ethics class in the blended learning modality and if learning becomes more active and effective through the use of a mobile application for students in business and accounting studies of a Mexican university.
The literature reports that the combination of traditional and mobile media generate the propitious conditions to build an active and motivating environment to strengthen learning outside of the classroom, as well as allowing students to interact with the learning material in a context independent of the traditional session. The study is qualitative and transversal. The results show an increase in motivation for the study and support the success of learning through exercises and repetition by the use of digital media. Keywords:
