Abstract:
In the present study the results of a dissertation research are analyzed. Its purpose is to establish the influence of the model of ‘Pedagogical technologies for inclusive education’ developed and implemented in the lesson. The object of the theoretical and applied research is the process of formation of social skills and competencies, and increasing the cognitive abilities of pupils, by implementation of the model in the educational process on the subject ‘Around the world’, with an emphasis on themes from social world. The methodological bases of the research are built on the knowledge of the ‘Methodology for acquaintance with the surrounding world’ (I and II grade) and ‘Inclusive Education’, integrated on the achievements of the modern scientific and pedagogical fields.
The dissertation research is realized in successive stages, namely: search and study of national and international scientific literature on the nature and condition of the researched problem; pedagogical research in three consecutive stages - ascertaining, forming and control; analysis of the obtained results.
The experimental study was carried out within one school year. It was attended by 370 pupils aged between 6 and 9 years, in two equal schools. The study of the input level of cognitive activity from the control and experimental group is realized in the first weeks of the school year. Through the created didactic tests, respectively for the first and second grade, testing of the young pupils was conducted. To establish the degree of the set goal, at the end of the school year a survey was conducted on the initial level of pupils' cognitive activity.
From the obtained data and results of the research the level of efficiency of the tested model was established, on the achievement of lasting positive results in the process of increasing cognitive abilities, formation of social skills and competencies of pupils in the initial stage of education.
