Abstract:
The biology degree of the Faculty of Science of the Universidade da Coruña changed the studies implanted in 1990, adapting the methodology and its contents to the European Higher Education Area.

In this work an analysis of the evolution in the subject Physics is done from the introduction of the degree in course 2009-2010.
The main difficult that appears when the teacher deals any subject with first year students is the different level that they have in the knowledge of the Physics. For this reason, we have a major difficulty in the overall process of classroom learning. So, it´s necessary to develop different strategies that make easy the learning process.

With the introduction in the European Higher Education Area, and the existence of interactive classes with a small number of students, it has allowed that the learning-teaching process in the student is supported by the teacher and the rest of classmate. Thus, different activities have been developed to improve this process and they have allowed that the students can assess themselves. Analysis of the evolution of the results will be included.
