Abstract:
To make possible for teachers and for students to interact outside their physical classrooms, it is presented a solution in the age of rapid Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) that we are facing.
To turn possible the interaction between geographically dispersed students, new internet-based technologies advantages are applied.
To reduce the impact transition from high school to University, it is created a new level of studies, the zero university one, in a e-learning tutorial sessions acessed to all the schools in Portugal and Portuguese speaking countries.
Virtual laboratories will comply the function of pratical lectures.
In this paper it is presented the guide lines, the drawbacks, the opportunities and the strategy to implement the project in a University.
Future education paths leads to transnational education, .e., the concept of distance teaching and learning. The virtual classrooms (in the home country) provides information and knowledge to students in a different country (in the host country). This project sucess and demand will decide the spread through other countries.
