Abstract:

How can we keep the most reluctant of our students engaged in learning? Simple! The answer is with A+ Flashcards Pro and Quizlet. The combination of these two Apps/websites provides effective tools for learning any subject in a way that makes topic easier to understand. Their intuitive design and manageable interface allow students to create their own study sets of flashcards, memorize words and terms, manage their word sets easily and archive the information for review at a later date.

Through a variety of activities, A+ Flashcards Pro and Quizlet provide ample opportunity for students to take ownership over their own learning, set their own pace of study and become more independent learners. Tracking progress, competing with classmates, and collaborating are just some of the features of these fun apps.

In this session, I shall demonstrate how to create sets of flashcards and upload them from one app to the other. Participants will see how easy it is to manage both learning and teaching via tablets, and how A+ Flashcards Pro and Quizlet are integral tools in creating a paperless classroom.
