Abstract:
Modern engineering education is impossible without profound knowledge and skills about CAD systems. The role of universities is particularly important when teaching applications of computer technology in practice. At present, unfortunately, most universities are behind this global trend, and students complete a bachelor's degree without receiving appropriate training. In this paper two types of problems for detail modeling and providing documentation are described.

In practice, the role of automation of design of systems and computer graphics, which popular as CAD systems (Computer Aided Design), are of utmost importance. Rapid introduction of CAD systems in design - mechanical, electronic, construction design etc., is determined by the following:
•ability to quickly create universal technical solutions;
•the use of libraries of standard components and assemblies;
•handling drawings - connection sampling;
•compatibility with other graphics systems.

CAD systems classified in terms of their applications and computer resources are:
•systems for universal use in various fields such as Auto CAD, COMPASS, Pro / ENGINEER, SolidCAM, Edge CAM, SURFCAM, FeatureCAM, PowerMill, Solid Edge, Solid Works; Autodesk Inventor, Mechanical Desktop; Unigraphics NX, CATIA;
•systems for specialized applications, some of them enabling the design and simulation modeling - applications in electronics such as ORCAD, Protel;
•systems with easy graphic design of the explanatory note and simple drawings such as VISI, Smart Draw, XYSTUM.

The use of the CAD system in Computer Design of Technological Systems helps the students to acquire better habits and skills, as well as confidence in the modeling process.
