Abstract:
The aim of the study is to analyse and evaluate the objectivity of the researcher’s collected data interpretation during qualitative research—specifically, content analysis—by employing a "text-to-text" artificial intelligence tool. The methodological component of the research relies on qualitative content analysis of literature discussing individuals’ dependency on digital technologies. To mitigate subjective interpretation and evaluation of the data collected by the researcher, the artificial intelligence tool "ChatGPT" is utilised. Quotes that share a fundamental feature—the impact of digital technologies on psychological well-being—are selected from the analysed literature. The researcher systematises these data, identifying key terms. The same task is then replicated using the artificial intelligence tool "ChatGPT." The resulting data are compared to identify overlaps, i.e., recurring key terms. It is important to note that the researcher ultimately makes the final decision regarding the formulation of the key terms.
The study identifies key terms—exploration, dopamine loop, addiction, and loneliness—that underpin the creative process, enabling the creation of unique personal images reflecting the transformations experienced by individuals immersed in the technological world. Artificial intelligence tools afford broader opportunities for experimentation, connecting the physical and digital realms, and introducing alternative and interactive approaches to creative practice.
This approach directly addresses the challenges of the digital age, which significantly influence the educational processes. The developed personal images illustrate the psychological experiences and transformations of individuals reliant on digital technologies, constructing a narrative that highlights the dissolution of boundaries between the real and virtual worlds.
The integration of artificial intelligence into the learning process has proven instrumental in the analysis of complex topics, systematisation of information, generating ideas, fostering critical thinking, and the cultivation of creativity. This technology is becoming increasingly indispensable in education, as it facilitates the customisation of individualised learning methods, unlocks new opportunities for enhancing educational practices, and promotes innovative perspectives on learning. Keywords:
