Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many changes to the educational process at all levels of educational institutions. It has affected the national economies of the affected countries and all their sectors and industries, as well as the formal national education systems. To ensure the quality of education, it is necessary to change the traditional curriculum, as well as to strengthen online education and the transforming of book materials into digital form. In the current situation, it is interesting to focus on and compare the perception of online teaching from the students and teacher’s perspective. The raw data was obtained by an electronic questionnaire, which was sent to respondents via social networks and email. The additional objective of the article is to describe the opinions of students and the opinions of teachers on this new form of education. In the conclusions of the article are described the recommendations for teachers and students concerning the improvements and optimization of the educational process in the online mode.
