Abstract:
The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of Entrepreneurship Curriculum Programme (ECP) in Cape Verde. A research model was developed that focused on two central aspects. The first was the assessment of the impact of the ECP on attitudes, beliefs and values, skills, intentions of the students. The second, focused on identifying factors that influence the impact of ECP, namely contextual factors (island differences), teaching factors (differences between types of education) and personal factors (gender, age and family models).

The study was conducted on 6 islands with 12 schools: 4 are predominantly Technical-Vocational and the remaining 8 General studies . The research used a quasi-experimental research design for comparison between groups: 947 students with and 1140 students without ECP.

The results point to a significant and positive impact of the ECP in several components associated with the students' attitudes, competences, beliefs and values and intentions It was also concluded the influence of several factors that moderate or enhance the impact of the ECP. From the theoretical point of view the study allowed to deepen the knowledge about the impact of education in entrepreneurship, in a context where there are still few studies. - the context of developing countries From a practical point of view, the study has made it possible to learn about the results of program implementation and to provide indications for deepening / improving measures to support students in their teaching-learning process.
