Abstract:
In recent research we did clearly point out that the increasing number of children with autism in Vietnam in the last decades is strongly related to rapid change of living environment and parents care in their ages of 2 and 6. While in general the early detection and treatment for autism get many difficulties and limitations, it would be more possible to develop effective methods provided to parents and relatives to avoid environmental conditions from which children might suffer autism in these sensitive ages. The article highlights behavioral problems of children with developmental disorders, focusing on those with autistic disorders. We pay more attention to deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and intellectual disability. Based on the previous analysis of the behavioral expression of different groups of autistic children, four specific theoretical methods are suggested and examples are presented. The continuous observation on two groups of children with parents precaution care and without precaution care has shown great success of our prediction and treatments. While the first group has no children suffering behavioral problems of children with developmental disorders, the latter has quite high ratio of autism, above 3%. This immediate success motivates further research on the strategy of in—house methods to prevent our children from autism in which well—trained parents and relatives play the most important role. In addition, the article also analyzes a typical case of a child with behavioral problems and applies above-mentioned methods to better manage the childs behaviors.
