Abstract:
In general design branches, especially in industrial design education, product demonstrations and presentation methods are some of the most important basic elements of education. In addition to methods such as technical drawings, models or video show, now more powerful tools in the product demonstrations are needed. With today's emerging technologies, it is possible to add interactive, three-dimensional graphics into a presentation tool.

In Virtual Medium course held in Design Anadolu University Industrial Design Department, making use of interactive virtual 3D graphics and multimedia technologies has become a powerful alternative tool for students in terms of exhibiting and promoting their designed products. Students in this course have created interactive 3D designs in real time. In this study, experiences obtained in this course and of student work examples will be shared with technical explanations.
