Abstract:
In active and collaborative learning strategies students are encouraged to assume individual and group responsibility, whilst organizing and directing the learning process both with and without support from the tutor. However, active learning strategies should be combined with traditional classroom lectures in order to improve the teaching/learning process. In this present study a Unit from the Electronics module is developed in order to show the proposed activities for combining both learning strategies. In and out-of-classroom activities are proposed, with the objective of obtaining the active participation of students, in such a way that they cooperate and exchange experiences interactively with each other. This ranges from activities which require individual input in contrast to others, which require development through the use of teamwork. On the other hand, the proposed methodologies for evaluating competencies are also outlined. Keywords:
