Abstract:
Frequently, in many university subjects, there is very little time to deal with all the new concepts that on many occasions have a great complexity for the students. Due to this shortage of time and the need to strengthen prior knowledge, it is necessary to enhance the students' autonomous and individualized learning capabilities. This work presents a continuous evaluation methodology that has been implemented in the Automation and Advanced Process Control course of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering at the Jaume I University (Spain). With this methodology a more effective and efficient practice and approach to all these new concepts is achieved. This methodology is based on the use of questionnaires implemented through the Moodle platform in which questions are developed as a result of the parameterization of control systems problems. In this way, instant feedback can be obtained, both for students and for the teacher, and it is possible to get a fairer and more appropriate evaluation.
