Abstract:
The Andalusian society has experienced in recent years a dramatic increase in the level of complexity, due to changes in the dynamics of migration. The social inclusion of refugee and migrant minors becomes a pressing social and educational challenge. It is our obligation to establish innovative practices for the construction of forms of social organization of life that are more supportive and inclusive, fairer and more equitable; in short, more humanists, who prepare migrant and non-migrant children to understand the cultural diversity in which they live as an enriching context.

A democratic and inclusive society must incorporate the highest possible level of participation of all social agents, creating a culture of responsibility and shared management.

Therefore, we present a model of educational innovation project that integrates formal and non-formal education, aimed at children between 12 and 17 years old. The innovation of this project is to get the involvement of schools, students, teachers, parents, companies, municipalities, associations and media in this educational space, the incorporation of the voices of minors in the identification, development of proposals, awareness and visibility of the problems that exist in the integration of migrant children at school and social level.

This educational space will be developed within a pedagogical framework that combines the knowledge derived from the focus on human rights and participative governance, with the critical informational analysis of the media (sociological block) to establish the conceptual starting point on the perception of people migrants. Likewise, a block of knowledge will be developed focused on the analysis of the influence of the cultures of origin in the adaptation to the practical situations of everyday life: education, health, social integration, linguistics (anthropological and ethnological block). Finally runway will be a third block, aimed at spreading and agree practices and policies to facilitate the actual integration of this group of migrant children in the educational and social field (social participation block).

The main objective is to develop a learning space and good practices aimed at empowering migrant and non-migrant children in intercultural competencies that enable them to establish good inclusion practices in the social and educational spheres.

It is about establishing an analysis of the situation from which one starts (what we know about migrants), going on to an analysis of the real problems they have (real situations of their daily life) and proposing solutions for these situations . We could say that we would talk about transforming the cultural baggage that we drag on the image of migrants, analyzing their present and looking for proposals for future solutions, from education and with the participation of children throughout the process.

This space will be developed in the facilities of the City Council of Algeciras where a Municipal Council of Minors for Integration will be established; It will be a good resource for young people to establish networks to exchange experiences and good practices, with the intention of transforming the perception of children, as well as transferring their voices to the community.
