Abstract:
This paper presents an innovative experience developed by two universities centres; one of them located within the Europe framework (University of Seville), and another within the Latin American context (Mar del Plata University) with the following goals: (1) Use the social network Facebook, to develop learning communities (COPs) and (2) the development of personal and participatory skills for organizing working groups intercultural and interdisciplinary internalization. As a new contribution to this field we introduce the use of international training environments configurated by 236 students. The descriptive analysis of the data has focused on a closed Facebook group named named “Competences from the Theory of the Empowerment and Participation”, referred to as COMPETEP.
