Abstract:
The topic of digital technologies is currently a highly discussed topic in the Czech Republic. Therefore, this work deals with the use of digital technologies in families with a preschool child. In the study, the author follows intentional and unintentional actions by which parents influence digital consumption and its effects. The aim of the study is to describe how parents of preschool children have an educational effect on the use of digital technologies. The author also describes the habits in the use of digital technologies of the child and other members of the household. It also monitors the educational techniques that parents try to influence the use of digital technologies. The core of the work is a qualitative research carried out using the technique of semi-structured interviews with mothers of preschool children. At the end of the thesis, the results of the research are presented and a model of life in the families of preschool children in relation to the use of digital technologies is presented.
