Abstract:
The new concept of education emphasizes new forms and methods of educational work. The aim is to increase the activity, creativity and logical thinking of students and to create real preconditions for better employment of school graduates in practical life. The purpose of technical education is to ensure the preparation of young people for life in today's world, the balanced mental and physical development of a personality who encounters a lot of new information that changes very quickly but also forgets. The subject of technology at the second stage of primary schools thus has the opportunity to connect this information and its use in creative practical activities.

The paper deals with the issue of innovation of practical tasks in technical education at the second stage of primary schools. The aim of the research was to design practical tasks for a selected thematic unit of the subject of technology. Through the proposed tasks, our intention was to increase the level of knowledge of students and at the same time strengthen the interest in higher professional education of a technical nature. The paper focuses on the design of specific practical tasks and their inclusion in education, the main research method, interpretation of research results and statistical processing, conclusions, discussion and recommendations for pedagogical practice.
