Abstract:
The quality of education is closely related to the development of science, technology, but also of society, its values, the material, social, and cultural life of its inhabitants. In the context of the rapid development of information and communication technologies, teaching means are used in schools, the sophisticated choice and practical use of which can greatly influence the educational process. The paper focuses on the classification of the NAO humanoid robot as a modern innovative didactic tool, where the robot is applied in technical education as a teaching aid, but also as an educational form. The paper presents parts of the research aimed at finding out how humanoid robots can influence learning outcomes and the development of primary school pupils' interest in the subject technology. The research problem was aimed at finding out whether the use of a humanoid robot in teaching technology leads to better educational outcomes? One of the tools for data collection in the submitted study before the start of the research process was the use of the Questionnaire for the identification of pupils' professional interests in individual areas by J. Woroniecka (1999). The research tool was used on the assumption that pupils' creative attitudes consist of eight dimensions related to a particular area of interest. One of the partial aims of the research was also to find out the level of negative effects of information means on the pupil's well-being in the classroom.

The results and conclusions of the effectiveness of the implementation of this didactic tool focused on answering several questions - what level of knowledge was achieved through an alternative teaching method, whether the use of the robot supports the development of technical skills and whether the use of the robot during teaching affects pupils' interest in technical subjects.
