Abstract:
The environment is an important factor influencing especially work that requires thinking, creative activity, concentration, creativity, but also the overall quality of the educational process. The quality of education at all stages of the education process has recently been monitored mainly in connection with the results of several domestic and international testing of pupils' learning outcomes. International measurements test reading literacy, mathematical literacy and natural science literacy among students, and the results show that primary school pupils have long been ranked low in international PISA measurements, often below the average level of OECD countries. In 2008, the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic, in an effort to change the situation, introduced the reform of education, replacing the previously valid school system of 1997. The reform led to changes in the content and performance standards of education some teaching subjects.
If we want to positively influence the quality of the education process and increase the level of education, we need to know the factors that influence the well-being and perceptibility of education.
The paper deals with the management of the teaching process with an emphasis on ensuring optimal conditions on pupil performance. This is, among other factors, influenced to a large extent by the work environment, and many studies confirm that the atmosphere of the environment affects human performance. School is also a part of the environment, which is influenced by both pedagogical-didactic and hygienic factors. The research of the quality of the education process in the context of factors that influence its course is the content of the Vega project. The aim of the project is to define, analyze and objectify those factors that are most significant in terms of impact on the quality of teaching. The project is aimed at obtaining relevant information about the impact of the environment on pupils' concentration and performance. The results will bring the application outputs of indoor climate management necessary to improve the quality of the teaching process. Keywords:
