Abstract:
The article reviews the fundamental difficulties of Ukrainian war refugees in integrating into the society of the host country, presents the psychosocial characteristics of this target group, analyses the role of education in providing assistance to war refugees, provides insights from the analysis of scientific literature on the role of educators from various fields in the process of assistance to war refugees.

The second part of the article presents a part of a wide qualitative study, the purpose of which was to identify the psychological help needs of Ukrainian war refugees and the peculiarities of the provision of help, which reflects the importance of education in the process of helping Ukrainian war refugees. The findings of a semi-structured interview are analysed, related to the insights of the research participants regarding the performance of the role of an educator of specialists from various fields in the provision of assistance to war refugees. The article concludes with discussion and conclusions that can be useful to both the scientific community and practitioners.
