Abstract:
The corporate education acquires significant importance today, considering the competitive markets and the relentless pursuit of companies to survive and excel in their field, found in their employees a major asset for both, offering courses aligned to the mission strategy of the organization itself. Knowing this, in this article a study of the Corporate Education based on the Meister model, a case study being conducted in a hydroelectric company was made. This study is done based on the Theory of Participative Management. Given the current problems faced by some organizations, it concerns the strategy for achieving organizational goals and objectives, the question is: The process of Corporate University applied to a hydroelectric follows the model proposed by Meister Corporate University? This tool contributes to fostering results in organizational learning for the company? In this context, the general objective is to analyze the corporate education building on the Meister model as the default model for the Corporate University in a hydroelectric power company. The methodology used is a literature search, a content analysis and a case study conducted in a hydroelectric, and internal company documents verified in the study, describing the corporate education held by the company, whereas the Meister model. After the study carried out here it can be said that the Corporate Education is not just another fad. This new concept of preparing people for the better performance of their professional activities here to stay, since its first use in 1955, by General Electric. Today UCH is a reality in continuous improvement, pioneered the Brazilian Electrical Sector. The UCH is consolidating a culture of learning, self-motivated people with a learning and teaching process. Consequently, organizational knowledge is enriched and promotes the maintenance of hydroelectric study here in the competitive energy market.
