Abstract:
The European Higher Education Area (EHEA) promotes the use of learning based on collaborative environments that encourage interaction and participation of different students within a work team. When working with the "Teamwork" competence, it is important to consider the composition of the teams, as well as the roles and tasks that students perform in the teams. In many situations, teams are repeated systemically in different subjects and courses. Students learn to work well on their team, but these teams do not allow them to develop many of the teamwork skills. In addition, it is important to consider the process of working as a team. In many cases, we evaluate the work of the teams according to the deliverables (results) but we do not take into account the process itself, which is precisely where we can include learning activities that allow us to teach and evaluate the competence level of the students according to the learning outcomes achieved.

In this article, we present a methodology for the formation and evaluation of teamwork. This methodology includes the formation of teams based on Belbin roles and the monitoring and evaluation of teamwork based on project management methodologies. The formation of teams based in Belbin allows us to generate workgroups where there are heterogeneous profiles. The incorporation of project management methodologies allows us to make an evaluation not only of the result, but also of the process followed by the group to reach its final objective. This proposal provides a complete vision of all the stages involved in the teamwork experience that includes: the formation of the team, the development of the different tasks, the final deliverable, and the feedback of the teamwork experience. This methodology is being implemented in the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
