Abstract:
In accordance with current pedagogical trends in teaching, educational institutions increasingly employ methods, or activities, in which the student is placed at the center of the teaching process. One of these new tools constitutes the central element of this work. We are talking about gamification, which has become a more and more recurrent instrument in the educational field at all levels, from Kindergarten to University Higher Education.

The aim of this work is the design, creation, application and assessment of an Escape Room adapted to a university subject focused on Environmental and Industrial Noise Management. The objective of using this new teaching methodology, as a complementary strategy to traditional education, is to establish the knowledge of the students about the concepts treated in the subject, through the resolution of different challenges, while creating a more attractive and motivating subject.

Finally, through an evaluation of the activity by the students who participate in it, we will analyze the possible improvements that can be made in the activity, as well as the improvements that are intended to achieve in student learning.
