Abstract:
The increasing mobility and occupational flexibilization, bring important changes in the physiognomy of work in Western societies and in the educational field. In particular for the Higher Technical Professional Institute (IPST), this reality brings an increase in the skills that graduates must deal with in the labor market, considering that nowadays jobs require, increasingly "transversal" competences. To be able to respond to these educational needs, it is necessary to have people specialized in their professional sector and competent in teaching method and in order to have teaching strategies that provide students with integrated access to the knowledge, skills and work attitudes. This study is part of the agreement between the Technological University of Chile INACAP and Peugeot Chile, Citroën Chile, PSA Peugeot-Citroën France and the Ministry of National Education of France (2010-2017). The goal was training Teachers of the automotive specialty, considering technical and pedagogical elements according to the French model of teacher training, besides generating technological transfers associated with the contribution of companies of technological resources. The teacher training phase was developed in three stages ranging from 2015 to 2016, following a participatory methodology under the model of Learning by Doing. As a result of the transfer, a group of expert teachers in charge of training teachers of the different INACAP seat at the national level was formed to develop methodological guidelines to be used in the classroom.
