Abstract:
Over the years, behavior analysts have been concerned to propose new technologies for learning. Skinner, Keller, among other important theorists of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior proposed technologies that allow respect to the each student's pace, immediate consequences to the responses and to student's active participation in the teaching-learning process. As education technology is a current subject and such characteristics are common proposals for distance education, this research sought to conduct a survey on the work by behavior analysts dealing with distance education. Taken as the object of study promoted by the Annals of ABPMC - Brazilian Association of Psychotherapy and Behavioral Medicine - between 2006 to 2010. The results reveal that, despite the extensive work done by behavior analysts in the 60's and 70's today meager are the researches aimed at understanding the phenomenon of education, specifically the distance education by scientists in this area of psychology.
