Abstract:
This documental, non-experimental and descriptive research has been developed for academic purposes in order to identify the main benefits of the development entrepreneurship and small business.

Promoting the reactivation of enterprise development could help to improve economic growth and provide an important boost to long-term productivity, given the positive relationship between rates of new business creation and growth of the productivity.

This document highlights the importance of promoting the “Orange economy”, which refers to the development of the cultural and creative economy, where the innovations in business models are related to the development of digital cooperatives, development of social networks, the encourage of micro grants to artists, development of biotechnology products, development of regional and cultural markets, and the development of creative responses to natural disasters.

The objective of this research is to analyze the concept of entrepreneurship and small business, and according to the theoretical framework analyzed propose a strategy in order to take advantages of entrepreneurship for economic development.
