Abstract:

This documental, non-experimental and descriptive research has been developed for academic purposes to identify selected sustainable development trends.

Promoting the reactivation of enterprise development could help to improve economic growth and provide an important boost to long-term productivity, given the positive relationship between rates of new business creation and growth of the productivity.

This document highlights the relevance of promoting sustainable development strategies as an important issue for the present and future generations, considering that natural resources and the environment must be protected in benefit for all the international community. So, sustainability issues will influence all organizational aspects of the human life, from the economic, political, social and environmental points of view. A lot of countries have accepted the commitment to promote the reduction of greenhouse gases by 2030, doing efforts to reduce the production of greenhouse gases in all industrial fields, strategies that consider reducing energy consumption and to limit the creation of carbon dioxide in many industries, which is responsible for over 40% of all carbon dioxide production.

The objective of this research is to analyze some of the most important sustainable development trends and according to the theoretical framework analyzed identify the main characteristics, considering aspects related to sharing economy, technology, gender equality and artificial intelligence, that have the potential to provide economic benefits for all the people worldwide encouraging the sustainable development, concluding with a proposal of strategy to take advantages of fostering sustainable practices.
