ACTIVE LEARNING DRIVEN BY DIGITAL CONTENT
In order to confront complex learning methodologies, this study presents and analyses the suitability of a strategy or methodology of learning that is dynamic, simple, direct, low-cost and collaborative, which adapts to the new characteristics of students and circumstances, means and resources available today to take advantage of technological advances in the communication and information sector that takes the interest of students in sharing their experiences and processes.
The student is, in addition, the center of gravity of the process and a truly engine in the process, because he is under the supervision of a teacher and with his advice, are doing its own path of learning, once an objective is set down. So in the creation of a new project, this one should be shared with the academic community, through the digital content generated in the process. In this way the project creates a strong motivational and incentive effect and at the same time creates inductive process that optimizes the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire process.
Results obtained to date with its implementation in several subjects of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, have seen as an improvement in efficiency in the processes of acquisition of knowledge, capabilities and skills by students. Those improvements were made not only in the materials analyzed in the subjects, in which has been implanted, but also in transversal skills such as decision-making ability analysis and synthesis, expression, communication and collaboration, among others.
