Abstract:
This European TEMPUS project with acronym PICTET is focusing to internationalize and strengthen the higher education ICT programs in Russia en Kazakhstan and add the business and entrepreneurial skills and attitudes to broaden the access to the international ICT job and business market.
In order to achieve these objectives, we define our ICT professional profiles using the European e-Competence Framework 3.0
Based on these international professional ICT profiles and our professional European, African, Asian, Australian and American experiences, we define the right course programs to develop the course material to acquire the required technical and scientific know-how, skills and attitudes for more than twenty profiles.
We discuss programs together with professional Business ICT-associations, HR-experts, associations of ICT-professionals, unions, local, national governmental and European agencies of work, business, research, business and education to enhance the relation in the triangle education-innovation-work and align higher education programs towards ICT work market needs.
Obviously these ICT programs are verified and audited using the necessary quality assurance mechanisms based upon the ISO standards for ICT-service and infrastructure delivery, the EQF, COBIT and GAMP guidelines and other ICT quality standards. 10 Pilot ICT-training and test centers will be installed in Russia and Kazakhstan. More than 500 ICT-students will be trained and will provide feedback.
Special attention will be given to define the indispensable soft skills and attitudes in order to participate in ICT teams, ICT projects/portfolios with customer interaction and ICT infrastructure services. The feedback from associations of ICT professionals and ICT companies will help students and education to address better the business and human (relational) needs.
Finally this program will result in mutual gain by more exchanges between East and West, South and North, more business and less job loss, better and happier customers and professionals, better citizenship and more durable customer oriented ICT business. Keywords:
