Abstract:
Motivating students is one of the most challenging things we do as educators. It is true that students carry with them many past experiences that contribute to their motivation in our classrooms. Learning isn’t notice in this situation. Students should feel or see a need for something, a need for participating actively. They should have a personal interest in something. Children should see that what they do is realistic, relevant and necessary. They should be motivated and the learning itself, actually means something. However, due to the importance of making English language learning enjoyable and its impact on learners' degree of achievement in learning English language, this study investigated the factors that make English language learning more interesting and appealing to Iranian EFL learners. To achieve this purpose, 155 Iranian language learners participated in this study. The findings of this research showed that: teachers; learner's orientation; parental supports are the most influential factors making English language learning appealing to the learners.
