Abstract:
The proposed paper presents a critical review of the suggestions and the analysis carried out in the framework of the international Erasmus Mundus DYCLAM Masters Course, reporting on its principles, methods and experiences. The subject of the study was the Unesco cultural landscapes of Italy, and in particular those of the Amalfi Coast, Cilento, Val d'Orcia and the Cinque Terre, for which a precise methodology was developed, including visits to the territory, training seminars and immersion in the local reality through the active involvement of local authorities, territorial associations and inhabitants. The reports analysed start from the historical link between man and nature and go on to examine the aspects relating to the impact of agriculture and tourism, which are the common thread linking the four sites, focusing on the management systems, governance models and stakeholders involved; this type of activity forms the basis of the guidelines for the management plans of these sites. The results highlight the specificities that have emerged from a dual perspective: internal and external, local and foreign. Keywords:
