Abstract:
The paper explores the significance of special music education as a tool for promoting inclusion and social justice in education. We examine music education not merely as a means of musical instruction but as a focus on the social potential of music and artistic activities. Our research employs a qualitative design rooted in close collaboration with the educational realities under study. Notable results have been observed in overcoming social inequalities. Furthermore, our findings highlight the substantial potential of music education to accelerate communication skills, which are increasingly critical for social integration in today's world. Additional areas where music education can play a significant role have emerged during our research, such as addressing gender issues and fostering intercultural interaction. Based on our findings, we offer recommendations to the professional community for modifying educational programs, particularly advocating for the intensified use of music education's potential. Keywords:
