Abstract:
Modern requirements for the education system expand the range of professional functions of a teacher. Until recently, the development of educational content was mainly the area of textbooks authors in our country. The number of authors in the centralized educational system was very limited. Nowadays, schools authorities can independently choose the subjects, the classes and the methods of teaching their students. A modern teacher can be a full-fledged author of an educational content bringing his vision of the subject to his students.

This is a very creative component of a teacher’s activity, requring development since the students years. We apply the technology of productive training to methodological training of future teachers of physics and mathematics and to shaping their experience in creation of educational content for their subjects.

Considering the age categories of students, we choose younger adolescents and the conditions of early study of a subject. It is the period when “serious” subjects like physics and mathematics are especially interesting for students. At the same time the selection and adaptation of educational content for young students requires special skill of a teacher. The technology of productive training orientates students (future teachers) to the creation of methodological and didactic materials that reveal the content of early education in physics or mathematics. The developed materials are intended for use in future professional activities.

The study is aimed at creating methods for training future teachers of physics and mathematics to develop the content for early learning of physics or mathematics with the technology of productive training. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to take into account the age-specific features of younger adolescents, as well as the meta-subject content of physics and mathematics courses, the possibilities of these subjects in the development of students’ functional literacy. This paper continues the research of the authors on the methodological training of future physics and mathematics teachers with productive learning technology.

The defining points of future teachers methodological training for development of educational content are:
1) a description of the mechanism for selecting educational content and the criteria for its pedagogical assessment;
2) a description of created methodological and didactic materials types;
3) a description of the requirements for the structure, content and design of didactic materials for adolescents educational activities, developing their research skills and functional literacy.

The research results based on an expertise of students (future teachers) educational materials allow us to conclude the need to further improve the methodological training of future teachers of physics and mathematics.
