Abstract:
The world pandemic rapidly changed the ordinary order of life all around the world. The first and maybe the most important areas affected the most were traveling, education, and common communication between people. But every problem has its profitable side and in the case of COVID-19, governments had to find a proper solution to provide the nations with a necessary tool while still being at a secure distance. Thanks to Industry 4.0 and the general development of technology into our everyday life lack of social interaction was offset with technologies of distance communication and telepresence including eXtended Reality (XR). It unifies three different technologies and approaches: augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR).

In this work, we observe the experience of Kazakhstani developers of the educational application in the fields of physics, medicine and radio engineering, electronics, and telecommunications. Application of virtual and augmented reality was used in the created programs as a way of student’s involvement in studied objects along with the ability to visualize complex hidden phenomena.
