Abstract:
Many dynamic processes and phenomena that are the subject of primary as well as of secondary school education can be exactly expressed mathematically. It is not just about science subjects, but also about the subjects whose content is difficult to formalize. The solutions used are more of a heuristic nature, and they are not always accurate. Often, however, solving the problems of everyday life has an algorithmic character and can be programmed. The convincing examples of using simulation models implemented on the basis of a mathematical model are offered by the subject of physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, informatics as well as other subjects. It is well known that strengthening the links between teaching subjects improves understanding and deepens the acquired knowledge. The article describes several examples of didactic interactive simulation models for acquiring new knowledge in a playful way. Special attention is paid to visualization, interactivity and active learning of students - to bring fun and pleasure to the learning process.
Keywords:
Mathematical model, interactive simulation, gamification of teaching and learning process.
