Abstract:
In industrial design education, theoretical and practical experiences contribute to the development of the student's abilities, skills and vision for graduate qualification.
In the context of this approach, top priority of the design education system should be to make students experience professional work environments during the undergraduate education.
Configuration and construction of this experience in the education system not only place design education in to a more dynamic position but also bring about the condition that design students experience professional work environments.
Within the framework of this approach, the aim of this study is to developUniversity-Industry Cooperation in a three-stage program:
University-Industry Cooperation stage 1;
A compulsory Two Stage Internship Program For Second And Third Grade Students.
University-Industry Cooperation stage 2;
Co operational Workshops and Projects with Professional Partners from Industry.
University-Industry Cooperation stage 3;
Graduation projects
