Abstract:

The Cordinación de Universidad Abierta y Educación a Distancia (CUAED) has as an objective: to promote equity and extend the coverage of public higher education, in this framework subscribes the Plan Integral de Formación Docente en Sistema Universidad Abierta y Educación a Distancia, which is an early teacher training effort for the Sistema Universidad Abierta y Educación a Distancia, that articulates a pedagogical project, a didactic proposal, a disciplinary areas, an academic management and the rational incorporation of information technologies, communication and knowledge in higher education.

The Diploma, for four generations, contributed to the strengthening and enrichment of the basic training of students and offered a complex formation of diversified content to create the opportunity for dialogue and interpersonal communication, inter, multi-and transdisciplinary for balance and harmony of vocational training, teaching and technology, and to project their academic interests and incorporate new career prospects.

CUAED Fellows Program is designed for students of the last regular semester of degree, with interest in develop themselves in the field of higher education. The program tries to strength the Sistema Universidad Abierta y a la Educación a Distancia in their teaching, research and university extension duties based on an institutional, rational, systemic and transdisciplinary education model.

Cross-cutting issues including in the program are:

• The acquisition of a trans-disciplinary and complex vision of the objects of study that include each of the careers that participated during the four generations.

• Promote an educational position of teacher education in two directions: for those with concerns to be teachers, supplementing their education, and for educators and trainers, systematizing and complement their background.

• Develop an ecosophic awareness where the subject is to think and act in-the-world and with-the-world.

Therefore, participate in the Edulearn 10, will extend the look of distance education and may share successful experiences with other participants and institutions that will certainly enrich the educational work.
