Abstract:
This article presents the use of blogs as a connection tool between different levels of education, specifically among undergraduate students and high school students. This research has been carried out through the elaboration of a blog by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia; in which students and professors of different educational levels and areas of knowledge have been involved in its development and implementation. In particular, the blog was created by the educational innovation team Econ-Innova with the objective of reaching, with several posts, the entire educational community and making it an active participant of it. The results of this work indicate that the blog, with specific posts of the discipline, effectively helps to foster the interaction of students of different educational levels, take the role of discussion forum, promote the development of students' capabilities and skills that will be useful for their present and future academic training, and demonstrate the importance of active teaching.
